The foundation provides essential support to children in psychological distress, most of whom have experienced difficult family situations.
The foundation provides essential support to children and young people in psychological distress and from difficult backgrounds.
For 18 years, nearly 80 children in psychological distress have been admitted each year to the child and adolescent psychiatric care unit of the Saint-Jean Clinic.
Thanks to the foundation, these children benefit from an enriched environment with recreational, sports, and cultural activities, as well as essential psychological support.
This support represents an annual budget of more than € 50,000.
The foundation also supports residential care homes and Youth Protection Services (SPJ) to cover essential needs that these structures cannot meet on their own.
More recently, a program has been set up for seventeen children and young adolescents traumatized by their family past. They receive continuous support until they reach adulthood, thanks to volunteer mentors and financial support from the foundation, representing an annual budget of more than € 25,000.

Les Dames de Cœur is much more than a simple second-hand shop: it is a social enterprise where all profits are donated to the Saint-Jean Foundation.
Run by an entirely volunteer team, our boutique offers second-hand clothing for men and women at affordable prices. Every purchase directly supports our social and philanthropic projects, specifically providing aid to children in distress and ensuring healthcare access for the underprivileged.
Supporting youth, from tutoring (Protutelle) to solidarity (Solidarcité)
Protutelle
Every year, 80 children (aged 3-12) hospitalized in pedopsychiatry at the Clinique Saint-Jean benefit from therapeutic activities (such as hippotherapy and music workshops) and the support of a psychologist to regain confidence, serenity, and self-expression.
Solidarcité
Solidarcité offers young people aged 14 to 25 a service year (année citoyenne) rich in engagement and learning opportunities. Working in groups, they participate in solidarity, cultural, and environmental projects. This experience strengthens their confidence, their sense of responsibility, and their role in society.
